It does look like drier lint or wool bits. I’m not sure how it got in there other than I put in a new custom made 4-core radiator. Must have been in there and I didn’t see it?

Yes, it has to be a mouse nest.
Got the head on. Just noticed the block is dated 1968 and the head is dated 1969. Truck is an original 1970?
