Hey Tony
If your son does win out, then I would be interested in the Boyds!

I have say a big fat no too...I understand that the younger generation has totally different taste. I'll let my 14 year old son cut his hair in a style I don't like, let him wear "skinny" jeans, and listen to music that drives me nuts, but putting ugly wheels on a truck is where I'd have to draw the line... The dual 5 spoke wheels posted earlier would be a much better option IMO.

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
im 18 and i dont understand these kids today. all id put on a truck is either slots or the 8 hole circle wheels (like what greenbd71 posted) or other "truck" type wheels. just my opinion.

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
I understand he probably wants something new that no one else has and be a trend setter and all that but...I would really reconsider- there has GOT to be something else that he likes. They are different but I have NO idea what they would look good on other than a crotch rocket-sport bike!

Baller status rims on a hot rod/muscle truck ? No gracias senior. I think baller type rims degrade our trucks. Just my 2 cents, sorry if I offended ya...

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
I'm 17 and would have to say no. I mean honestly, that would kill the look of the truck. What's he thinkin?

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
PLEASE NO!!!
I am a big fan of 20's or 22's on these truck and like the modern look you're going for. But that wheel isn't it. Look at Budnik/Billet specialties/Intro for options. I was looking at the Coys site the other day and they have the 20" or 22" C57 wheels on sale now. 20" x 10" in chrome for 275/rim and 325/rim for 22x9's. A killer deal for a nice looking wheel.... on our body style truck (needing a little more drop IMHO) 17's/18's on a newer S10...

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
i see both sides of the argument here. for everyone incuding myself, i think those wheels are hideous. on the other hand if it is a father son project and he's been putting his time in with the truck, let him put on what he wants. (wish i had the opportunity to have a father/son project.) we all know when we were young we thought of doing things that should never be done, or knew might be frowned upon, but i think most of us had more then enough common sense to realize how bad of an idea it would have been. try to show him some other wheels but if he's set on those, sooner or later he'll grow out of it and pick a wheel that will compliment the truck a lot better. SORRY FOR THE RANT FELLAS! i'll put my soap box away now
