Re: Any pre-72s in Hawaii?

Hey braddas in Hawaii... Trying to put together a C10 (truck, blazer, burb) meet and greet and maybe a cruise some time in November. Gotta nail down a location and weekend to do it. Who is down? Any ideas?

Re: Any pre-72s in Hawaii?

Got a lot going on... My 67 is in the garage with the front end ripped off... Finally getting some well needed work done! Gonna shoot for Jan to do the meet & greet then run from there. I will keep you posted on here and will put an add on craigslist. Got 4 other trucks lined up so, hopefully by Jan, we will have a good turn out!

If you ever see a 41 Chevy Special Deluxe Convertible, let me know. I left in 1988 and had sold it to another Navy guy. Miss that car. Was still a project when I sold it. Miss Hawaii too. Never saw a "bad weather" day LOL. Lots of Volkwagons and mini trucks when I wss there. Liked them all, they were hotrods, thats all that mattered. Aloha. Jim

Re: Any pre-72s in Hawaii?

Just dropping in saying wassup to the rest of the local guys on this post. I've also been trying to find other c10s on the island. Mine's still a work in progress but here she is. I try to go to the Kapolei cruise nights on saturday's whenever "life" doesn't have any other plans. Let's definitely get a group get together.

Bought the truck as a roller from a guy here and started adding some stuff.

Shoots!!

Wow! Nice truck TooSlow! Where you been hiding that thing?? I don't see a whole lot of us running around like 808 says there is so I'm assuming most are garage queens that only come out on the perfect days...? I'm kinda guilty of that myself. Lol

In any case, It would definitely be cool to get all of the local C10's out together in one place.

Ala Moana. Kakaako. Kapiolani. Keehi Lagoon. Any of those would be good with lots of space.

We doing a cruise before/after too or just park and hang?

Re: Any pre-72s in Hawaii?

Lets plan for late June... my hooptie is still in da garage with the front end off. I am almost there fixing the rust on the firewall then I can slap the front end back on and at least drive her while I do the rest of the rust repair.
