Question I have a 6cyl, but which one?

Hey,

New 'round these parts.

I just bought a "new" '68 C-10 stepside. It has one of the (3) inline 6's that came with this particular year, but I can't seem to figure out the displacement of the engine. Is there anything in particular I can look for?

I know it's the original engine and it looks like the original 1-barrel carb as well. 99.9% of the truck is stock.

Oh - and I've noticed that some people are really sensitive about posting the VIN # of their vehicles online, why is that?
