Re: LT1 Burbs 65 Stock SW Build
Nice work man! The frame looks great. I'm in the process of installing my brake lines and I was wondering if you would mind showing some pictures of how the lines are routed from the back to the front and across the frame at the front. It would help me a lot. Thanks.

Re: LT1 Burbs 65 Stock SW Build
I have just been working on floors and welding in patch panels. Glad I took the rockers off as the main door pillar was rotted on the drivers side, passenger side was great. Found a rodent nest inside both rockers also, just something to help out the corrosion.

Re: LT1 Burbs 65 Stock SW Build
More floor work and welding, learning on the fly., Also ordered some aftermarket rockers but the contour sucked and they were a 1/4" long so decided to fix mine.

Re: LT1 Burbs 65 Stock SW Build
More floor work, at least this part is cheap and just requires wire, time and grinding discs.

Re: LT1 Burbs 65 Stock SW Build
The patching looks great, man. I know what you mean about the rockers. I was able to use one of mine but the other was too far gone to patch and I had a terrible time getting the aftermarket one to fit right. It might have been less trouble to patch and reuse the old one even though it was in bad shape. I could still use a couple of pics of the brake line routing, especially at the front. Keep up the good work.

Re: LT1 Burbs 65 Stock SW Build
Spent a few hours grinding and cleaning up some spots. Practice has certainly helped as it gets easier the more I do. It's amazing how much work some hackery shifter hole cut caused. I must have 16 hours in that tunnel piece. I guess there was some rust that had to be fixed anyways.

Re: LT1 Burbs 65 Stock SW Build
awesome build, kudos for keeping it factory stock, got a question im asking this cuz I noticed ur PG case apart and ur perty painted finish with the same auto selector levers as I have, so I finally got a roller and noticed my powerglide kickdown lever, the one on the case is in a odd position when I manually put it in park it will bind with the lever/rod thingy, is it a simply fix to remove the kickdown lever from the case a just move its position and slide it back into the case? pics of my to follow
