Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Ha ha right. So far the oldest has done fine with his freedom. The Life360 app is great to keep track of their comings and goings. We paid extra to check in at anytime to see how fast they are driving. I have sent texts real time to say slow down. They know big brother is always watching.

Good deal. Being honest & open w/them is the best approach. You're just doing your job so that they can grow older & have a family of their own.

Re: 1994 Chevy Blazer 4 wheel drive - Field find

Recent pic before I turned this over to Austin (my youngest). We added new Bridgestone tires and removed the chrome covers over the factory 18" GM wheel. Factory fender flairs were also refurbished and added. I always liked the looks of the 2 door Blazers with stock fender flairs.

For the initial investment of $500 (plus parts and labor to get it road worthy) this has treated my boys well for a first beater.

Re: 1994 Chevy Blazer 4 wheel drive - Field find

Well we upgraded my sons 94' Blazer to a 08' Cadillac SRX (AWD v6). From a feature standpoint I dont think there could be a larger jump in technology and creature comforts.

He never once complained about the Blazer. He liked how you could look out into the a parking lot and see where you parked as it stood out from the sea of similar cars/trucks. It took one morning for him to love heated seats.

For the initial $500 purchase price this Blazer was the daily driven by both my sons over a 4 yr span. Pretty decent ROI. With that said, we will be selling the Blazer. I would rather build other things.

Upgrade is debatable, but glad you got the goodie out of the GMT400 Blazer!

Understood. Not contesting that aspect.

It was a great investment that served its purpose & now can potentially help someone else's youngster take those same steps.
