Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
The foam is also slightly different. Here is a 71-72 bucket.

Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
Here is a 69-70 bucket for comparison. The seatback is narrower and more tapered. The base is also slightly different.

Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
The bucket seat bottom frames.. are the 69-70 frames different than 71-72 ? In other words can you put a 69-70 foam bottom on a 71-72 bottom frame?

Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
Chad- The frames have the same dimensions, both bottom and top. I have sets from both 69-70, and 71-72 and measured them for comparison.

Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
I have had customers buy 71/72 foam from me and install them on 69/70 frames with no issues at all.

Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
:edit: Zepp thanks for your help man.. I didn't mean 'Just the man I wanted to talk to' like I didn't want to talk to you. . I just meant Truckseats for the new covers and foams. No worries.
Brad (I think?) How much for both driver and pass new foams (the good ones you have) 69-70 and a pair of 69-70 style saddle / saddle hounds tooth bucket covers? Thanks Posted via Mobile Device

I'm eventually going to redo my bench seat and was planning on buying a cover from you. I'm also wanting new foam for my seat and I've seen other places say their foam only fits full foam seats. Im going to attach a couple of pics of my bench and see if you can tell if your foam will fit it. I believe it to be a 1972 spring/foam seat. So if it will work, could I get a quote for the bench seat foam bottom and back and a black cover with orange/black houndstooth shipped to 73527, business address? Thanks!

Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
I'm at the stage now to finally do my interior in my '71 Jimmy. Have a couple of questions.
1. I've read that the truck bench seats can have a spring/foam pad for either the bottom or the backrest. I have not taken my rear seat apart, is this also true for the Blazer/Jimmy back seat? Or are they always foam bottom/foam backrest? 2. Do you carry the foam for the Blazer/Jimmy back seat? 3. Would you please send me a quote for seat covers in black vinyl with scroll for '71 buckets and rear seat? 4. Would you please send me a separate quote for seat covers in black/white houndstooth for '71 buckets and rear seat? (Not sure yet which way I'm going to go). 5. Lastly, please send along a quote for the '71 bucket foam and Blazer/Jimmy rear seat foam if available. Shipping would be to 95628, if you could let me know approximate order/ship times it would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: 71/72 Bucket Seat Foam
Thanks for the reply Truckseats. LMC apparently has the Blazer/Jimmy backseat foam, but it's pricey. I don't have the skill to build up foam myself, never did seats before, and my foam is coming apart, looks like yellow snow flakes on the bed floor
Need to get some prices from local shops to do the foam I guess. Thanks
