Re: CTrow's Truck
It's an older Air Ride Technology system I got off eBay. The valves are their standard 1/4" valve system. It has the digital display but it doesn't have any presets like on the newer versions.
I think mine might the the ProRide? |

Re: CTrow's Truck
Really nice looking, can't wait to see it all in Black. I too love the flatbed truck, very cool tow rig. Those wheels are cool as a fan too, I want to do some wheels like that on mine once I get the rest of the truck done.

Re: CTrow's Truck
Very nice build, hope my rolling chassis turns out even 1/2 as nice as yours. Great job. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Re: CTrow's Truck
They say chrome won't get you home but it sure does look good!
Got the plenum back a week ago. Just waiting on the rest of the brackets. In the mean time going to get the motor/trans blasted and then painted. Will also do a run up on the engine stand to get it broken in. |

Re: CTrow's Truck
The only thing I have to update at this point is I finally found the seat I wanted. It's a 1990 bench seat with the fold down arm rest. Got if off of ebay for $61.
I've been searching for one a couple of years now so I'm pretty happy to have one finally. I attached a picture of what I got and what it could end up like. I will probably keep more of the original lines, just recover it with leather. |

Drivetrain is painted
Got the engine, transmission, and accesories painted this weekend.
Hope it turns out okay. I tried to mimic the grey in the wheel centers to the engine. You cant really tell by the pictures but there is metal flake in the paint. Some Toyota color. I also made a trip to Mena, AR Friday night to pick up the rest of the parts I was waiting on to be chromed. Next weekend I'll get it put together and with any luck, possibly get it started up in the chassis. |

Re: CTrow's Truck
Got the engine mocked up just to see what it would look like, still waiting on some odds and ends before putting it together for good. Had to at least see what it would like like.
The idea was to open the hood and look like a diamond sitting there. It might be too much but oh well, too late to turn back now!!!

Re: CTrow's Truck
Updated pics. Got it where we can start it at least for run up and make sure there are no leaks.
Forgive me if the frame looks a bit dirty. I think that's going to be this weekends project.
