from what i have heard from people that the 14 bolt is susposed to hold up pretty well to wheeling and mud .

hold up well is an understatement. These things are tough as nails.

yeah i know that got a buddy with a j 20 with a 14 bolt and danna 60 on 42s who wheels the hell out of that truck . when i started building my blaze i had a guy come in to my shop with a 84 chevy truck 1/2 ton with 1/2 axles and 36s . well he got a little happy with the go pedal and spit the who carrier and everything stright out the back and well looking at that and how i drive i didnt want that same problem
