I have to say I think I like the look of that setup better then what I wound up with. I don't have mine in the rear mounting holes either....but thats depending on how it drives, handles, and gets traction like it is. I figured I'd go for the farthest position when I go back in and do the body in a year or two.

old thread so sorry about this but i noticed your trans tunnel unbolts like my friends 65 c20 did only 4 speeds come with that floor because my 3 on the tree doesnt have anybolts its all one piece and it was hard to bolt the 3 speed floor shifter conversion in with the trans installed this would have made it easy -.-

Went with Street & Performance headers - they fit great & are very well built too! Came ceramic coated & already have the O2 bungs welded on collectors for me!

Great info. I am getting ready to install my LQ4 and need an option that keeps exhaust above the frame.
