Re: Show me your 55-59 Suburbans/Panels please

Anybody know where I can get 1/4 panels for my 58 Burb? I've been up and down the net with no success. ...Don't really want to settle for fleetside panels. Thought of making it into a crewcab since you can buy a brand new rear cab section, which would get rid of my 1/4 panel problem.

You should try posting your question in the main forum or in the wanted to buy..
I've searched for replacement panel for mine too, even asked my parts supplier. NO LUCK I think our best bet is to retro fit some Cameo panels

Cameo outter bed panels are fiberglass.

I'd probably lean towards a steel panel over a fiberglass one.. Also starting to contemplate buying one of those new 55-59 pickup rear cab panels and making it into a "crewcab"

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Re: Show me your 55-59 Suburbans/Panels please

I saw a panel/suburban this summer while on vaction...it had 4 doors on the passenger side and one door on the left(drivers). The front clip was gone but it was a 55-59 model year. What was that vehicle made for? Taxi?, tour bus?...(unfortunately did not have a camera....)
