Re: New Wheels or New Interior????

So, being an old fart, I would ask you, "Who are you building/changing the truck for? For you to enjoy while driving it, or for the general population watching you flash by?"
Since you asked, I'd do the interior now, "instant gratification", then leverage a birthday, Christmas, or some other angle to subsidize the wheels/tires. JMHO.

I have always wanted things done at that very moment as in the "instant gratification", but the wheels seem to be just sooooo far away if I don't do it soon.

I know the purchase of wheels is a big investment. Or do I go with new interior with the truck fund money I have now?.
All depends on what you want from your truck. if you're just showin' off and not giving anyone a close look, wheels. But, if you want the truck to look good from less that 20 feet, do interior first then wheels.

when I originally got the truck, I was planning on just lowering it and calling it a day. So after replacing the vent windows and all the other glass, ECE 4/6 kit, c-notch, this is where I find myself contemplating my next move.I have always been a wheel guy, but something keeps telling me to go against the grain and do the interior. hmmmmm

Re: New Wheels or New Interior????

It's been a while, but I finally pulled the trigger. Although I wanted to order the wheels first, my garage roof that leaks water on my truck when it rains needed to get fixed so it only left me with enough play $$$ to start ordering the interior pieces.

First shipment arrived yesterday with the LOOP STANDARD 80/20 carpet from TrimParts. The RED I went with is Code:565.

Now I need to find the right color dash pad that best matches the carpet and who offers the best quality. Please advise!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Laidbackrecreations for the carpet.

Re: New Wheels or New Interior????

wheels first!...but not cheap ass wheels. take your time a pick a good wheel, that will make the biggest impact. then I'd switch over the interior to red, you can replace one thing at a time....

Red looks great. Go to your local parts store and have them mix up a rattle can of vinyl paint in your desired color. Should do your pad and door panels. Prime first w/vinyl prime.
Finding all the repo parts and getting them to match is a struggle. Might get your seat cover first, and see what you got. My 2cents
