I will give you the same advice I gave Dennis, your body color detail will get swallowed up down in the engine bay. Go with something brighter. Maybe do a bright blue (since you mentioned blue) and do some accents in the Gray.

Good call i think thats what ill do!ill start working on getting her all painted tomorrow then i can reinstall the wiring harness!

Hey guys a little update.. i started tinning the bed almost there i mounted my 22" wheel to test fit to see what i can clear i think im going to run 20's so i should be fine! the doors are shaved here is a little picture of them welded up!

in these picture the side and wheel tub are just set in there and i still need a spot weld removal drill bit to take out the rest of the factor inner fender

When you put the new flat pieces on the inside of the bedside how did you attach them at the top? (I know there are welded but are the just laid on top of the flange the turns down on the inside and plug weded, butted up to it or did you put them behind it)

smashing i just butted to the top of the rail they are tacked right now and are also getting plug welded and a special bonding filler is going to be use to feather it in the the top of the rail.. once again sorry for the crappy cell pictures!

Thanks everyone for the compliments! that exactly what i want is a nice and clean truck this is going to be my parts hauler my real project is my 98 silverado!

dang you get down man much props. Your backhalfs look real nice i want to do my truck but need to a little more research and try it on a donor frame other then on mine just to see if i can do it, your setups look good though man.

Looks like some very nice frame work. And not too much nonsense... I mean, they look good and functional. I hate when people put more unneeded tubes and stuff then they have functional ones. Simple is best on my eyes. Good work. Nice S4(?) there too.
