Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
I know this isn't "working" but just came across this photo and had to post it here. It's not "working" but soon would be, unusual truck to come out of the factory at that time.

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
It looks like it was a glancing T-Bone there at the corner of Cherry and Jensen in Fresno. The truck was pushed into the power pole and the bed went flying if there was one. I think there was because of the full stepside rear bumper. If only you could read the concert poster on the pole you could narrow down the date. That looks like an early 60s Country Squire in front of the truck.

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
Found another pic. Bed is torn off and appears to be resting against a fence. If you scan pics forward there are other classic wreck pics.

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
Looking at the crane and the strap under the rear of the 4X4 panel truck, I can imagine why the cabs and doors don't line up well out of the factory.

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
I can't explain it, I just LOVE seeing these photos! I study the whole thing, the back ground, every bit of it. I have always loved "life" photos, they aren't Posed or made up to look pretty, just friggin life.
And that link provided a bunch more, what awesome photos! Brian

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
My ‘51 after it hauled some hay and then a shot of her flexing her muscles (pto driven hydraulic dump)
Not terribly vintage of a pic, but a vintage truck doing working truck stuff.
