Totally off-topic here - what years did the Beaumont run?

(I can off topic - it's my thread. )

And let it be known, at the time of this posting, the poll was Chevy 36, GMC 21 - not the massacre you all were expecting huh?

Re: What's your favorite 67-72 Front End - Chevy or GMC?

Well, I voted Chevy's because I have one. As I stated in another poll thread, I like them all. Any well done pickup deserves credit where due. I can appreciate a well built GMC just as much as a Chevy.

I think the main purpose of this board is that we all just love ALL 67-72 pickups.

I had a 68 GMC that was one sweet ride but.... I still like the Chevys a little bit better. Not to say I don't the like GMC's, they all look great to me.

I have a 68 Chevy and put a 68 GMC grill on because I luv the bright work and dual headlights. Oh by the way, I put the bow tie back on the GMC grill.

62 - 69 IIRC. Thet started out in '62 as the sister car to Chevy II, but moved to A body platform in 1964. Here's a '67 and a '65. The last pic a '63 Beaumont Arcadian.

I'm sorry to say this, and I am a die hard Chevy man, but that '67 looks better than the '67 Chevelle (and I love the '67 Chevelle!) IMO.

Here's the rear of it for those not familiar. I think Chrysler ripped off the taillights for the '69 Roadrunner!

I actually am a fan of both. The 70 Jimmy shown was my favorite. I now drive the 72 cheyenne.

Re: What's your favorite 67-72 Front End - Chevy or GMC?

I like GMC's. Course it takes a chevy owner modifying or replacing the engine to get as much torque as me in a '67 gas burner.
