I used some rattle can wheel paint I got from Kragen and then I sprayed on some clear coat.

Well it's been a long time but I finally have some updates. I've been really busy and not able to work on the truck. Now I've been doing work to the truck but forgot to post pics

. So I got the front clip pulled off and I am cleaning up the frame and the engine compartment. I also ordered a new carb today since the one that come with the truck was a pile of junk. I'm going to prime the fenders, hood, and grille and I hope to have the truck back together in a few weeks but I don't know if time will allow. Also, I got a new stereo and speakers for christmas which I will be installing shortly. I'll get some pics up in a few minutes I have to sort through them all...

Cool. I love small-window '67s.

Los of elbow grease can make for a nice ride.

Keep the Ford parts away! Don't want any inter-species contamination.

Those rallys make a big difference in the look of the truck it gives it a meaner stance i need to find some 15x8's i have 15x7's im going to buy some 15x8's and put 60 series tires

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, the rally's really do make a big difference, I love how they look on these trucks. They are 6 lug 15x8 rally's with 275 65 15 treds.

Yeah, my brother owns three fords and he uses my truck for storage...haha.

Made some more progress today. The radiator core support is now painted and the fenders and hood are almost ready for primer. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Yep, those rallys are so good looking! Glad you have some nice weather to work with, it has been COLD here and will be all week. Lets see those pics tomorrow.

ya this weather in oklahoma is horrible it gets worse thursday or friday i wish it was summer

Well I know I promised you guys some pictures but it gets dark so early I ran out of time. The good news is...my new carb got here today

! My dad was trying to adjust but we are having some issues with the throttle linkage. Even though it isn't completely tuned yet, the truck runs SO much better. I'll take some pics tomorrow in the day light.

Man that carb looks Great! I love those valve covers too. Something I'm sure you have already thought about, as soon as you can you want to replace that point distributor setup with an electronic ignition. It's really the only way to go IMO. They are cheap and easy to find at local wrecking yard or pull a part. That way when you plow into a huge puddle your engine won't die out on you. Points aren't the easiest to keep tuned. Keep it up!

I'm located in Carmichael, almost in Fair Oaks. What about you?

Thanks for all of the comments guys. It's a 600cfm 4barrel electric choke carb. Here is the link http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-M08600VS/. Yeah I am going to pull the engine out and repaint the block and heads. We might be moving in the next few weeks so I don't want to pull the engine yet. I'm planning on getting an electronic ignition. I can only afford one part every few weeks

I live in Florin off of French and Gerber so we're about a 20 or so minutes away. I understand about the parts deal though I got lucky and my dad's been saving up parts for my truck for a while since it was supposed to be my mom's so him and her could have his and hers trucks fleet and step but the plan changed.
