It at 2 degrees at the moment. I haven't set the motor in yet or added motor mounts to the frame..I still have to do the fire wall and do set the motor around the same time...after is which I will set the degree the rearend. I just have to see when I get to the point.....with most 4 links you can adjust them

Re: slammed 57

working on the passenger side , adding a new step/rocker and cab corner. in the picture below you can see how the bottom of the cab corner on the driver seems more narrow than where it meets with the rocker. So i started fabrication a new one on the passenger side. Still needs some final tweeking before it gets welded in.

driver side

passenger side

Nice job on the rocker. I had to tweak mine a little also.

Re: slammed 57

Made a little more progress the past few weeks. I finished up on the passengers step and lower hinge pocket and had to tweak back them into shape( for they were twisted slightly and the doors had poor fitment due to it) the last owner did not install the steps that were replace before properly.
I also started fixing the driver door gaps, still have the back side to finish up...... painfully SLOW and tedious work

had to also replace inside the door jamb/ step area for they were beat up pretty good

Re: slammed 57

Looking real good.
The doors on these trucks were terrible from the factory. Yours looks real good.

Re: slammed 57

nice work

one thing about tightening all your door gaps... these trucks move. a lot
my door gaps are twice as wide as yours and have chips in the paint from contact with the door frame

Re: slammed 57

well got a little more done today. filled in the door gap on the back side of the door...almost finished with it , just gotta work the up where the mirror mount area and shave up by the curved part of the window post to complete...Also got a new (well new to me) air compressor. and put my old compressor on semi-retirement

This is my old compressor (sears 10cfm 30 gal) which my dad gave to me 15 years ago which it used to be his...He bought it in 1968 and he/we built probably 40-45 air boats with it among trailers and other things....it still runs ok i guess...its to sentimental to me to get rid of, so i'll give it to my son as he gets older... mind you he's only 15 yrs old. but it will be good for him to have to air up tires and small projects

And now for the BIG BOY 2011 (curtis 24cfm 80 gal) did i mention I LOVE NEW TOOLS , LOL

Re: slammed 57

As you see the window post didnt line up with the cowl to well. I drew a line where i needed to move it down into place.

Since i was there I started to re-shape the door a bit so the body lines will flow better.
