Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
i also sold my gmc grille last week so i needed to get it off the truck. decided to put the new one on so i could drive it. also put my new hood on. have the matching fenders to go on it also(had to repair a small part on the back of the cups). also have some doors to go on it(also fixed the small issues they had). filled in all the mirror holes each door had(swear they had every mirror possible on it at some point). when i get the coils in this week i will have it in a roller so it can be moved. i am hoping to start changing over from the old chassis to the new one next weekend.

Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
Very cool I decided to go with ece trailing arms.
Sorry, thought you said trailing, but you said "tracking". Are you going to have to cut it? I'd send it back for the correct one if possible.

Tires/wheels look bad-ass on your truck! Not going to repaint the engine?

Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
not yet. mainly a time crunch. works getting a new cnc machine this week and a storage container. so my space will be gone. need to get this home(and drive it for the last month of good weather). i plan on doing rust repairs to the cab in the spring time so it will come back apart then. maybe i`ll have an idea what direction to go with paint then.
today i got the power steering stuff installed. driveshaft installed and filled the tranny and rear end with new fluids. also lengthened the track bar to work with cpp trailing arm bracket i got. |

Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
got some done on it this weekend. finished running brake lines. now i have all new lines(no leaks either made my own- first time doing it). got my hei in. got the rear rims switched over. also shows my new doors i fixed up(couple small rust holes were replaced with new metal). also filled in all the mirror holes. also got the new front clip on. just a few small things let to do to get it back on the road.
doesnt seem as low as i was expecting. 4.5 front and 6 rear. have to get the bed on to measure it. |

Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
wow, been a long time since i updated this. have had it out for almost 2 months now. I have it runing really good(knocks on wood). getting ready to do some more to it. I ordered a boyds tank for it. plan on installing it soon. need to get some inner fenders and cab repair panels. then its off to paint. going with a faux patina on it. also ordered some filler panels(gas tank hole, stake pockets, and the marker lights on the bed).

Re: 2002yanks 67 lwb
all fixed. now be gentle, i just started welding.
no more under the hood heater. just have to sand down the welds on the floor and prep the cab for paint. cab now has new rockers, inner rockers with floor piece(the better ones), all 4 floor supports, front and rear door pillars(both sides), and cab corners. soon will have an underdash vintage air heater. |
