Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
Exactly what I was thinking.
Hard to believe someone that put so many personal touches into this truck is selling it. My guess is whomever put this truck together over the years is no longer with us and the family is selling it for whatever they can get. Would also explain why there is no description of the truck as they have no clue.

Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
A CB rig, a Cop Spot and what is the furry thing dangling from the RearView? [Dead ferret, Shrunken Head, troll doll?]
Definitely worth all $3,000 he's asking. He never had that rig offroad, not with that cabin in the bed. That truck would look so natural in my backyard.

Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
Who needs a description? What can't you see?? Just imagine the stack of receipts on that!
No mallards or pheasants on this one. This here is a dedicated li'l trucker rig, not a go hunting rig. This is a run down to the truck stop for a cup of coffee and chew the fat rig. Those may have shared some features but purpose built in an other way. Ol' Bobby Kingman had a '72 Cheyenne with a cap like that. Truck was a gem, very low mile. He had indoor/outdoor carpet in the bed for his beagles. That's all that truck did was haul his dogs. He had two other ones and mostly ran the white on Parchment Cheyenne Super with the red wheel bead showing between the wheel covers and narrow whitewalls. All trucks were kept inside.

Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
It ain't finished without a CB and antenna. I've always kind of liked the redneck Trucker style of pickup. I've actually had a couple over the years and they do have some redeeming qualities. Great place to nap when you've had too many "Barley Pops".

Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
I haven't seen or heard the term "lot lizard" in a long time!
My father in law had a CB radio installed pretty much like this guy does. And cheesy speakers in the headliner. I tore it all out, and will eventually put in a new headliner and trim. The headliner was pretty butchered, and the trim broke up when I took it out.

Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
Looks like they are blue and standing on the shelves?
You know what, though many of us wouldn't put a truck together with this much accessorizing, no one is bashing what was done. I like that. A lot of "love" went into that truck. |

You think 'who does that'?, but people that do that love their vehicles to pieces. Every addition is to make it better and their own. I think mission accomplished as guaranteed their is not another exact copy anywhere, except maybe Saskatoon

Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
Yes, there is a light green one too. (different shelf)
Anyone else found the mallard duck yet? Is that a land line in the back, drivers side by the tailgate?

Re: Wow, Talk about personalizing a Truck !!!
The duck is on the L wheel tub.
It took me a second to spot the land line, I was looking for a rotary phone.... Some old dude really went to the next level with this one. Wonder if there's any Jerry Reed 8-tracks stored in those cabinets???

I did not read all the threads...but there is just no forgiving this guy for putting "Longhorn" badges on a C10...he is not a '67-'72 truck guy...he is an alien or a zombie!!!! Nice paint but he has no clue...or respect for the breed!!!

I like it! Not so much to personally own it, but I love that he made it his own. That's a classic style right there. Have to love the trucker truck.
