Re: 4L60E Tech

Don't know much about 4L60e's so could you tell me what I am looking at here?

Found this on craigslist. Not sure what would be considered the "weak point" of the trans or where you would typically beef things up.

He sent me copies of the receipts for the build and for a "refresh" after he ran it for a year and was going to transplant it but decided not to. Parts in the post match what are on the receipts.

Am I looking a a decent "built" trans for $600 or a rip off?

Thanks for the help!

Re: 4L60E Tech

Most likely the silliest question on here. But I cannot get my 4le60 parted from my block. I have all of the bolts out obviously. The seal broke but it's hanging on there pretty good. Torque converter?

If it really does have a Sonnax Input Drum & Shaft......They alone cost more than $600. The Input shaft will be a Black color if is a Sonnax piece.

The Z-Pack is a Raybestos product. And not a very good one in a 4L60E in my opinion.
Borg Warner doesn't make a Wide Band.

I don't like to see inconsistencies in parts list!
