Re: back from Hiatus... :)
STILL waiting on control arms. If the machine shop guy does not get them done, like by Tuesday, gonna toss them and get some tubular setup.
Trans is supposed to be here this week. Can't wait. As soon as I get this motor/trans mounted up, I can get started on the myriad of little things that eats up your time and nickle and dimes you to death. More to come.

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
Trans not here. Control arm situation went from "it's been almost 4 weeks...it's just bushings" to QA1 front coilover setup. Guess that LSA blower is just not in the cards...

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
Got the spring perches cut for the qa1 setup. Going to put the front suspension back on this weekend...and probably get the motor/trans put in for the final time.

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
not a lot to update...Rob came over and gave me a hand with a couple of things. Big help.
Hopefully get exhaust welded up this weekend, think I tossed out a new set of header gaskets, could not find them, had to buy another set...should be here by the weekend. Get the headers/gaskets installed, get the rest of exhaust mounted up, Run power wire to fuel pump, maybe even get the tank bolted in. At least that's my plan for the weekend and next week. Then I'm off to tarpon paradise for awhile. Harness should be done by then, and get back at it full speed.

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
Back home...
Mounted the fpr up on firewall, started to run fuel lines. Bought a new belt. Started on the window felts and channels. Had to crack and pick the old channel out, long process, came out about 1" at a time. Only one side, was pretty muggy yesterday here in NW Florida. Be back at it tomorrow. Still have not mounted the gas tank.

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
I did get the gas tank kinda mounted with 2 bolts, just for it to be in place. Almost got the fuel lines done, gotta drop the tank to finish, had to order a few things off summit tonight so I can get that part complete. Finally. Harness was supposed to be done end of May, but couple weeks behind. Still looking for oe core support that's in good shape, bought one awhile back, did not notice the previous owner had cut/zipped off the bottom area where the cushions sit in....might be able to cut my og one up and weld it, or just buy amd...and be done with it.
Will be VERY happy once I get this fuel system done, checked and tested. Then I can move on to core support, radiator(anyone run the rd ls swap unit?) and trans cooler. Not running a/c, might just yank all that junk off the firewall.

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
slow progress...motivation has been elsewhere past few weeks.
got a/c firewall panel, fuel lines are done, waiting on fuel hat from 87chevy, mount trans dipstick(just need little spacers or nuts), harness is on, got firewall grommet today, putting that in tomorrow. Got the ecm under the dash, and will put the small fuseblock that came with it under there somewhere too. Then on to the bulkhead wiring and get the trans lines run also. Might get some pics tomorrow.

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
PCMCobra, I wanted to check in on this build to see if you might have any updates? I love the color combo on this. I was wondering if you might be willing to elaborate on the ECM mounting & location of the ECM and also if you used the TCM as well?

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
He added an LSA to the truck 2 years ago. After a year and a half trying to get the factory computer and wiring harness to work, we switched to the Holley Terminator X setup. Runs like a scalded dog now! Still working on the tune as it will be running on E85 when we are done..... OBTW it also has a QA1 suspension now....

Re: back from Hiatus... :)
oohh, ok, I used the factory harnesses & fuse box until recently. I developed a communication error from OBD2 port and the ECM. I am going with a aftermarket harness which will allow the ECM & TCM to be moved into the cab & was trying to get mount and location ideas from some of the master builders on here.....
