Hubcaps.

Conoverbandit,
One of the picks looked like it had a GMC hubcap. If so are you selling it or them?
Longhorn70gmc

Also, From what I learned from Andy and books I've researched. Chevy's will say Longhorn on the rear of the bed by the front side of the light marker.
I have seen four in my area like this. One was a 1ton. The 68's have it the same way but it is above the rear side light marker.

The GMC's have Sierra Grande Like mine on the rear side of the bed just like the Chevy's. If I am wrong please someone correct me. Hope this helpful. Your Vin knows the truth on what it really was.

:

All 4 hub caps are there we just pulled the one to see if it was floating axle rear. I haven't really payed that much attention. I do know that the one I took off is "pushed in" sort of but I'm pretty sire it could be pushed back out.
How bout $20.00 + ride for them?

Very close.... but 2 corrections to make.
The GMC Sierra Grande is just a Cheyene Super...the GMC's designation for Longhorn is Custom Camper...not to be confused with the Custom Camper package that came on the lighter 3/4 and 1/2 ton 127 inch wheel base trucks. You are correct that a GMC should not have the Longhorn badging though.
Also, the VIN won' tell us if it is a Longhorn or not...but the model number will.

Chevy called them Longhorn, too. Andy, I don't know if there is much of a market for Longhorn beds. I've posted mine a couple of times and got no response.

Not a "big hump cab" was 3 speed on column. I have another fella from another board supposed to be comming sat. to look at it for a truggy project. But if you are still interested, I'll gladly sell it. once I get stuff comming off it I have to get rid of it pretty quick like as I live smack dab in the city and they frown on"junked vehicles" They don't see the potental................Thanks,

Right...Chevy called them longhorns...GMC did not.
I know there isn't much of a market for the longhorn beds, but I've seen them sell once in a while for a bit of cash.
