That is hard to believe that it is the same truck from the start photos, and you only spent $2500 on restoration. You are truly a magic worker, great job

you have done a great job on your truck! if you can make that truck have an 'after' picture on a 2500 budget, maybe you should be an accountant and come teach me how to get my money to go further!!! congrats :p

guys....thanks for all these kind words. It is a great feeling to get done and have all the people that is interested in what you are give you compliments like this. i didnt buy a whole heck of alot new.The new parts mainly consist of...grille(great deal from ****************)bumper, carpet, tailgate(which i didnt have to pay full price for..thats another story)brakes, shocks, carb,ps pump, batteryand probably window and door rubber. The rest was used and bought either here or ebay. The seat, the wheels and tires, some of the trim, steering wheel...and it goes on and on. but really, thanks so much for the kind words. It makes me feel like i really did accomplish something with this

as far as the tailgate goes,.....i had the original one sent to a body shop to fill in all the trim holes. He had it just about done and called me to let me know that it had fell down in some tall grass, someone didnt see it and ran over it with a tractor.Needless to say,it wasnt fixable. He and i went in halves on a new one.....so i had to spend 80 bucks for a new tailgate, not too bad i thought
