i might pay 1200 american for it if it was in my area. that thing on the hood would be one of the first things to go tho

I see trucks like that in Northern AAlberta all the time, the thing is that you have to get further away from big citys. you arent an hour from Edmonton. they still demand big prices there because they see the adds in the bargain finder for the 13K. I'm 2.5 hrs north of edmonton and I see these trucks in the feilds in just as good shape for a couple hundred bucks. Sure the front end has been done, but that shouldn't make the truck that much more money, it would have to be in working order for him to sell it to be on the road (not for parts).

The truck that I just rebuilt was in much the same shape, but it had sentimental value. The reason they are getting $13K for some of the trucks, is that it costs $20K to get them worth that. I havn't done the drive train and I'm into mine for $11K and I didn't pay a cent for the truck.

In Canada, we are plaqued with the cancer, it costs a ton to buy new panels, which I would say has to be done. It is usually cheaper to install a new panel thay have a bodyman tinker for 4-5 hours to salvage a panel. Just check out the prices for a box panle and you'll get the Idea.

I hate to sway your vote off of a classic, but you will find a better truck if you wait.
