Not much on the truck.
Non-truck weekend fun:
Too make a long story short, late last night some a-hole side swipes me and takes off. I chase him for miles until the cops find us (im on cell). Ends up being that we had almost no damage at all, scrape on hubcap, tire rubber scrape on side of front bumper, and scratch on side of mirror. All which looks not too bad and probably fixed easily. They had no clear damage on their car, but it didnt look very nice to start with. To avoid providing them (shady characters) with my info I decided to drop it and not exchange any info. Although I know their car and house and what they look like (they were in the light and I was not). Police said there was no proof they hit us and ran and damage is so minor insurance would be tough to claim against them. Everythings cool and Im glad there no damage really to my gf's car which is a damn magnet for other cars. My adrenaline was pumping pretty high, but I can keep my cool, im just glad it didnt turn to more then it needed to. During the chase he made signals as if he had a gun. So I kept my gun close just in case he decided to shoot. He never flashed a weapon and police found nothing. It just pisses me off people run into you and drive off like nothing..... ohh yeah they told the cops they didnt know they hit us and thought they were a victim of roadrage.

When they hit us, it sounded like more then it was because the mirrors are spring loaded and they sprung and bounced around some. Just glad nobody got hurt and the car has basically no damage. Im still though.

Never a dull moment for you in that area , better try to slide up the moving plans . I got tagged from behind on interstate 10 one morn and the other driver ( had all the ear marks of an illegal ) floored it and skipped down the exit ramp , I looked around and has luck would have it there was a DPS cruiser stopping outside the HOV lane . I pulled up to it , Quickly told the officer what had happened and gave him the plate number and --- it was like o"well he is gone now and your truck just has minor damage . I will check on it but it's probably not a legal plate , so don't expect too much . Has I walked away I was thinking to myself let's see is that lesson #62 or is it lesson #63 about how it is in Phoenix . Anyway I have to watch my temper all the time or I would be in s#it every day with all jerks driving around this city doing what ever they want . Glad nobody in the car was hurt .

That stinks. You can bet if the same thing had happened to that cop- however minor- it wouldn't have been "oh well". The person would have been chased & charged w/failure to stop & render aid; hit & run; or possibly even aggravated assault of a police officer/public servant.

It reminds me of when I was a kid & my bmx bike was stolen. We called the police & when they arrived several hrs later (I know... it was only a bike) they took our info & immediately said 'it was long gone by now.... & we'd prob have no real chance getting it back'. The ***** of it all?? I told the officer that I was pretty sure who took it. I gave them a description & told them where he lived. They still didn't do anything. We had to go over to this kids house ourselves. Guess what??? That nice kid 'found' my bike & was keeping it safe for me.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Got a little work done on the Dually. New floor mats up front, new headlight switch, repaired bulbs that were bad. Installed a new set of front shocks on it too, rides much better now. Also worked on the Nova a bit, just about got the chute installation finished up, just need to weld the cable handle to the cage and that will be done. Moved Nitrous bottle mount from trunk to interior, refabbed the mount to work on the tranny tunnel. Still need to make a blow down tube and run a new line.
