WOAH nelly!

Can we all just take a moment...take a breath..ready?

OK, I feel guilty for having asked about the avatar, and I feel we are off of that subject. No nudity, let's keep it clean, gotcha..that's fine with me.

I feel he does have right to feel violated because a pic he posted, one that I thought was clean with his edit, was deleted from his post.

And while he can feel as violated/pissed as he wants, there is no reason to get into such a pissing match over who knows what about what. While I don't agree with editing the post, it isn't my forum. And as owner he has the right to edit any post he wants.

PLease..please stop the bickering. I for one will publicly ask that you not leave the forum. I believe we can all get along (ala Rodney King LOL)

I personally feel that everyone can be a valuable member, as long as they want to. Please stay and contribute.

I for one apologize for ever asking the question abouot the avatar in the first place.
In fact I am going to look for a different avatar that is tamer to replace my current one. I read more than I post, and am sorry for causing all this.

And let's not forget GMC's ROCK! Ok Chevy's ROCK too!

You are a pompous ass saying that you're giving us information for free that you usually charge 100 dollars an hour for. How much was it worth when you told that fellow that changing the crossmember on his truck would require splicing the frame? I sure hope you didn't send him a bill for that nugget of info.

Fellows, if you'll read the thread carefully, you'll find that there is a certain person's posts missing now. I imagine Rod or Josh had a hand in that.

I want to appologize to all of you publicly, because I lost my temper with this guy. In the whole time I've been here, he's the first to ever get under my skin.

I try to keep professional and courteous at all times, and I failed here. This is the first time I've ever drawn a line in the sand on this forum.

Moneyguru did the right thing by asking before he posted his new topless avatar. He didn't do anything wrong.

I didn't get mad ... I thought it was humorous. I honestly don't think you said anything that the rest of us weren't already thinking, Tx Firefighter ... no need to apologize to me.

Like I said in my first post, I always get a kick out of NOOBS coming here and attempting to challenge and change the rules that have been in place since the beginning of this fourm.

Oh happy day. Even if your drink of choice is Sweet Tea, the first round is on me. Not that a pissing contest is entertaining, but this was more exciting than Jerry Springer!

Listen here people, moneyguru is not at any fault on this board. I was only complimenting his ability to post pics on the avatar, and I stated that if there were a contest he should win first prize.I am the person who made this thread, not him.I really laughed out loud at the bouncing bossoms.I think that it was a very hilarious sight.I have raised four kids and I dont see anything wrong with any of the pics on this board.I know that some people tend to get a little disturbed about what they view as obsene.I dont think his avatar was any worse than frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello on the 60's bikini beach movies.OK ,now lets talk truck shop!

On a seperate note, my avatar disappeared, apparently on it's own.
I am assuming this because I was never told it was bad, and because I never received any notice asking me to change it.

Based on this belief I have put my avatar back, if there is a problem with my avatar please PM me.

Ok how is this. It wasn't seen a week ago, but others were, there where posts of people talking about it then. If you find my comments immature and rude I don't care, I'll get *****ed at no matter what if I'm nice and courteous or if I say it to the point. Perhaps you should also type slower to prevent typo's. I do not have hate time to email and PM every single person when I have to remove avatars etc. Read the rules, and you will find it states that any pictures deemed offensive will be removed.

Cdowns, a more constructive post will follow this one. This post is meant for you and you only. I am posting in the public forum because I feel it is the most appropariate way to address your comments

You are out of line, what are you trying to do fan some flames and start a war? Nothing is accomplished by posting rude insensitive comments. I suggest you edit your post removing your comments, after which I will do the same.

First I am not here to argue or start a pissing match, but to offer constructive criticism to help this board function better.

My point is that you could have handled it in a more polite manner.
It would have been just as easy to pm me asking me to remove the avatar, as it was to go in and remove it yourself. Doing it that way there is no risk of a public argument, and everyone is happier.

I am saying this specificaly because of the polite way I put my avatar back in, asking that I be pm'ed.

And as a matter of point, who is to say what is offensive? I personally find pictures of dogs humping cats offensive (that pic was posted today). Being offended is a personal thing, and not easily defined. For you to assume that I would believe that my avatar was offensive is inappropriate.

Maybe you should have made a post stating what type of pics were being deemed offensive, by just removing pics doesn't pass this knowledge onto someone who may be about to post a pic similiar to the ones you just removed. By publicly stating what kinds of pics have been complained about and simply asking the board members to remove any pics that met that description would have be more constructive.

Remember this was offered as constructive criticism to help this board function better.

This board has functioned fine the way I have run it for almost 7 years. Your input is noted, most people can read and follow the rules and understand when something is removed. You agreed to the rules when you signed up, they do state anything can and will be removed for any reason. I get constant complaints over the women avatars, so I remove them. If a picture is offensive, report it, if its offensive enough to enough people it will go away, simple as that. I only remove pics that violate laws, or are downright disgusting, I leave it up to all of ya'll to determine the rest, and somewhere along the line enough of ya'll complained bout the female avatars that they are no more, deal with it.

new avatar posted

OK, I have selected an avatar that shows a t-shirt that I personally find funny, the fact that a female is wearing it is coincidental. It does not depict any nudity at all, and is not meant to offend. If anyone finds it offensive pm me and I will promply remove it, I do not wish to offend anyone.

I wish I had a pic of my truck to use, but hopefully will in about a month.

It's Bright Torch Red....

Now on the subject of trucks, the previous owner had painted the metal retaining strips for the wood bed black. I am thinking that looks bad, who thinks stainless steel or chrome would be better?

unfortunately I used to see hairy boobs all the time, there was this..shall we say slightly overweight gentleman that went to my gym. (trying to be PC here), that had big hair man boobs. And I do mean BIG HAIRY man boobs.

Back to trucks...

How much do these bed strips cost? The black paint is flaking off the ones I have, they were new when installed. Maybe I should just strip the paint off, hmmm.

(hey I'm trying to bring it back to trucks)
