I've never seen any reference to a 3.73 in anything bigger than a 1/2 ton.

I have heard about a 3.73 ratio for the Eaton, but legend has it that it was just an aftermarket gearset available back in the day. GM never offered it in a pickup...they only got 4.11, 4.57, and 5.14 gears as options in the Eaton.

But the locker definitely makes it more desireable. You may want to check and see if you indeed still have it in there.
