Well im a little upset with this whole deal now/.... It clearly says on the bottom to email me for additional pics.. So i email all the high bidders throughout the auction. The person with the highest says that there bid is legit. then they ask for more pics. In the last hour of the listing.. well im at work, and he decides that hes not going to pay.. THEN I MUST ASK WHY THE HELL DID HE BID AT ALL??? i am so pissed right now. Anyway my truck is for sale $3500 o.b.o!

You should be able to send second chance offers to the lower bidders.

We have a truck for sale also. However, we will not put it on eBay. After selling and buying alot of stuff on eBay, I have seen alot of changes through the years. The fees keep getting higher on the vehicles, and the buyers (and many sellers) keep getting flakier.

Lots of people who bid are kids, who have no intention of buying anything. They bid, just for the "joy" of bidding. The majority of the first people who bid are sellers who are hoping to buy what you have for a song, then turn around and resell it for 2x the price.

The other "scam" is the sellers who put up an auction for no reserve, but put a disclaimer in their ad that they reserve the right to cancel the auction because it is for sale locally. This way, if the bids don't get to where they want them, they just cancel the auction. This is very unfair to all of the bidders who legitimately wanted the item. Some of these sellers do this over and over. You can tell its BS, because by some "amazing" coincidence, the auctions always get closed about 5 minutes before it was scheduled to end.

Anyway, the point of all of this is, for many things, eBay sucks. It is fine for $1-100 items. But, for bigger ticket items it sucks.

Sorry to hear about your high bidder backing out, arggg humans.

I'm putting my truck on ebay in the next week or so, I hope the same thing doesn't happen. I sell about 20-30 irems a week on the bay and you'd be suprised how many people flake out on $1-$2 items.

well i emailed the kid, and talked it over. He has agreed to pay the ebay fees plus a little extra for the trouble.. Not that bad of a deal i guess. Im still upset, it would have sold for at least $3500 which wouldnt be bad at all. Now i have to see what happens!

well im dealing with a board member on it right now, but if you are interested in shipping, and something falls through i will let you know for sure. But i thi nk its gone. Its a nice enough truck, that if someone is interested, they will probably take it!

O.K here are the pics that everyone has requested. I have the camera with me, and a computer to load them on FINALLY! so if you want more pics now is the time to ask. I am asking $3700 for this truck which IMO is a steal!

a few more.. the rockers are the only issues with any rust, and the passenger will need work. Drivers side should be an easy fix!

This truck is very sound mechanically, electrically, and body wise is very solid. The passenger rocker will need help, and the drivers side inner fender has a little rust in the front (easy replacement). the passenger window is cracked ($20 for a new one) and other then that its a great truck for a really really CHEAP!
