That interior is looking incredible. Do you know what type of backing material was used on the panel on the rear of cab where the gas tank would be? I am interested in having my carpet that will be on the rear of the cab curve around to the door weather stripping like you have done but wasn't sure how to accomplish that.

he used 1/8 inch panel board or masonite depending on what you want to call it. It is just pressed in place, nothing holding it down.

1971 C10 Stepside. LSx 6.0 with BTR Stage IV, Speed Engineering Headers, 4L80e transmission w/3200 Circle-D Stall. 3.73. Posi. Purchased this truck when I was 17. I started the rebuild (or take apart) in 1993. I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021.
