im running a solid roller and 12.8-1 compression. big dart heads..a 5000 stall and 4.56 gears

hey "bigjimzll" your truck has ran pretty much exact same as my Dads truck that he sold last year. His best time was a 11.80 on pump gas, I don't remmber the mph i'd have to drag out some old time slips to see. Do you have any pics you can post???Heres a pic of my dads truck.

if your on a budget like i know i am ,might think about a 400 with vortec heads ,small solid lift cam, performer rpm airgap, roller rockers. put a cam bout like the comp 292 in and a 3000 stall and it will haul booty. of course there is always big blocks.

i read in a book that the cubes actually come out to 407 but i never heard anyone say they had a sbc407
