Thanks for the kind words guys, and sorry for the slow response.....sometimes I disappear for a few days or weeks!! You know, family, work, projects, etc.!!
I have 2 1/2 inch drop spindles, 1 1/2 drop springs, along with new shocks on the front. I got it in the package from Early Classic Enterprises...don't remember the cost (don't want to!!), but it's in their catalog and online. I got my wheels on, on Wednesday and am SOOOOOOO pumped, it looks awesome and it finally looks finished on the outside. Hopefully I can attach a couple of picutres. They are black centered 5 spoke and the pictures don't do them justice. The overcast day makes it tough to see the definition of the wheels. Really cool, deep brushed finished dish on them.

Thanks Sublvr......the windows are next on the list.....That's as low as I'm going at this point. I like your look, but I like the height on mine a lot at this point. I'm sure I'll get to the point where I don't think it's low enough, but I don't think it's going to be for a long time.

I love the ride height you have on yours. Lowered enough to look cool, but still high enough to drive anywhere. Please take some better pics of those wheels, I've never seen that style before.

Took me months to get these wheels. They supposedly don't exist in this bolt pattern......so that makes these one of a kind. When I first saw a picture, my wheel guy called and they said they didn't make them in 5 hole. The picture was a 5 hole, but they said it was computer generated......then these show up at a distributor and then at my guys place! I think they're the perfect wheel for this truck!

.......Wow looks great. Whats the info on the wheels and tires? First time seeing that type of front bumber, how much and where from? Body work looks flawless, do u have before pictures and how much for the body & paint job? Stan from ECE has been helping me out and the guys there are great. Send a bigger picture, THIS BURB HAVE 2 B AS MY DESKTOP BACKGROUND.
Thanks for the motivation so i can spend more on mines. Harold Last edited by six8burban; 05-19-2005 at 11:58 PM. Reason: OOPS |

Appreciate all the great response, I love this truck, and it's nice to see other people think it's cool too.
'86 swb.....darkness of tint I think depends on color of the vehicle, as well as personal preferences. I do know, however, that if you're going to tint the rig, you have to do the front doors also. It just doesn't look right without to me. Six8burban....Front bumper is from Truck Shop in California. It's cool, but where they weld the light mount in, the metal is slightly wavey. Can't tell unless you really get down there, but I wanted to let you know that they are not PERFECTly smooth. I'll have to scan and post a before picture of the burb, it looked bad and was multi-colored!! I'll let you know the tire size (can't think of it off of the top of my head), but the wheels are 20 x 8.5. They are from Primax, but have a little "MC" badge on the side of the center cap. I only talked to Stan a couple of times, but he was very nice and helpful, as were the other people I talked to at ECE. I'll get another updated picture on after I tint the windows. Later, Jason
