Cheapest way to lower truck?

if you are good with a welder, and an angle grinder, make your own flip kit, thats what im going to do, cut off the spring perches on top and weld them on the bottom, easy and cheap, very cheap, only thing is getting a C-notch, and cutting off and rewelding the shock perches so i can get the factory angle on them so the shocks will work properly,

ok i got the kit and took off the lower control arms i cant seem to get the u bolts back in they are too far apart any tips?

Mine came out fine, but did not want to go back in. It was like they were spread out. I finally put the nuts on them, and crushed them in my vice until they fit. I don't like using brute force on something like that, but they weren't going in any other way.

BTW, I find it easier to install springs by pulling everything apart at a ball joint.

yeah im having the same exact problem and i dont have a vice i beat the one closest to the front in already but i dont htink its gonna work with the back one im thinking of taking an angle grinder and grinding the top of the u bolt at an angle to get it started in the hole

No springtech is not aim....They are completely different companies. Suspensionmax is the builder of springtech and they build their own hangers shckles springs etc. I have dealt with them and have had great luck. Check out their fb on ebay...it's good.

heres a cheap way to lower the back.....just get yourself a 4"X4" piece of 2' thick plate steel and then carefully!! throw it in the bed! should give you at least 2-3 inches you may laugh, but thats what my dad had to do "back in the day"
