Randy, With a mechanical arm from the shifter as opposed to a cable, It seems torque twisting could cause problems.

Haven't given that one any thought, but the linkage is horizontal from the shifter lever to the tranny lever, I'm guessing that there won't be any problems. I've done a couple of burnouts out in the court with no problems.

I see it now, so when your in gear the lever on the trans is near vertical and the linkage is near horizontal. That would allow a bit of movement, Let me know how it works when you really hook up .
I like that setup. Also it seems the longer the linkage, the more movement it would allow. |
