Also check 20Pink (fuel gauge feed) & 20DarkGreen (temp gauge feed) where it enters fuse panel. Remove 2 screws and fuse panel will come off wall. Sound like these 2 wires have melted on to a hot wire(red) when something has shorted out.

I more thing. The 2 accessory taps below the fuse.... Pull those 2 connectors and make sure THEY are not feeding the power.

As chickenwing stated, there shouldn't be any fire with the key off at the gauges. Disconnect the connector fron the ign switch, If the draw goes away,(and I think it will) your ignition switch is bad. PERIOD. Don't check anything else until you do this.

O.K.
update, I put the truck back together last night, not feeling to great about anything. Drove her around quite a bit, then came home. While I was driving around my temp gauge went out on me.. hmmmm. At least I think it did, it pegged all the way to hot, and I know the truck wasn't running hot. I went out there this morning to see if she would fire up (usually she won't after a night of sitting) and she fired right up. Nice and strong. I wonder if the temp gauge either was a problem, or something running through it was a problem and when it went out it broke some kind of connection. So, the problem still isn't fixed, but it will work for the moment I guess. 68speedalert, I had already pulled the switch and all wires and still had a draw. I shouldn't have I know, but I did.

Something is bleeding over to your gauge circuit for it to be causing the drain. Have you done any rewireing or adding of any electrical lately?
