WOW! Seeing your truck really brings back the memories. My grandpa has a green 69 lb with the wood trim on it. Actually he still has it to this day but its more rust than anything now.

Thank you for not putting gawdy chrome all over your motor. Look 100 times better with no chrome. I also kept mine all stock in appearance in mine. What's under the plain valve covers and oil pan are another story

Sweet. That makes me want to get mine done and on the road. It must be awesome to take that first trip, and look good doing it

Yes, that's the one. I was figuring that I would have to do some trimming to get it to fit but it slipped in and fit like a glove! Here's a pic of the bed...

That thing is beautiful. Who cares about the gas prices with a truck like that and you DON'T need any excuse to drive that thing. Drive the damn wheels off of it. Looks great. You did a nice job. More close up pics of the truck if you have them and what wheels are those?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Of all my favorite things to do, The utmost is to have a brew.
My love grows for my foamy friend, with each thirst-quenching elbow bend.
Beer so frosty, smooth, and cold it's paradise pure liquid gold.
Yes beer means many things to me that's all for now cus I gotta pee.

The wheels are Centerline Saharas. I found them on their website under "wheel deals" and got them for $169 each. I have always been a fan of original Americans, but I wanted bigger wheels for this one. ET makes a 5-spoke that looks like the original Americans, but they would have been nearly $2K!! I like these wheels more and more... The little holes remind me of the original CST hubcaps. They also look a bit like the late model HD wheels which is pretty cool considering the hood design on those trucks comes straight from our Harry Bradley masterpieces. The paint I got from my father-in-law, and it is Southern Polyurethanes' primer and clear and Lesonal (Sikkins brand) color. The engine is stock, and I'm considering the Pertronics Igniter II module. I'm done with headers, and the 2.5'' pipes with 3 chamber Delta flows sound just fine through the manifolds. Thanks for the compliments, and I'll post more pics when I finish the interior. I'll get some in better light too, because although the color is alive, that sunset did some funky things to it.
