Not planning on tossing it. I've got a wicked cam, a billet crankshaft, and a few other goodies I may stick in the 305, for "testing purposes".....In short, to see what I can do with this combination before it explodes, then take what I learned from that, and build a 350 with it.

Yeah, it is kinda hard to figure it out. Even if there were tags on the glove box and so on, nothing says it's not from another truck.

I wouldn't put a billet crank in a 305 for testing purposes....what if you throw a rod or something and have to have the crank machined ...more $$$ AND MORE WORK not fun.

Cams aren't really a good idea to switch between motors either..cause they get specific wear patterns with the block their in.

that's my opinion anyway.

and Yeh '69 was the first year for the 350...was an option in '68 camaro's i believe...
