Did I read that right? $165!!!??? I see those on Ebay all the time, and they usually go for under $30.

I've got a 1984 Chevrolet K10 lwb that my dad bought new. It is brown/tan/brown and is that color because I got to pick the color....I was 7 years old at the time and loved the Fall Guy truck. I tried to get brown/gold/brown, but Chevrolet would not let us order that color so we got the next closest thing.

Now the truck is mine, and I plan on fixing it up, creating a somewhat restored worktruck. I did think about throwing in some styling cues on it that would give a nod to the Fall Guy truck....heck that is what some of my friends call it anyways.

I remember reading in a 4x4 magazine back in the 80's about that truck(s).
The story said they built 1 or 2 for jumping, the engine was in the bed so it wouldn't nose over when in the air.I think the jump trucks were BBC engines.Full roll cage, front & rear axles beefed up. They used up some trucks about like firebirds in Rockford files.

Howdy,

I'm new here, just thought I'd add my .02.

Years ago I saw a stretched dually limo that was built for the show. Had the same color scheme and, I believe 8 doors. At the time it was for sale near Acton, California.

Anyone know what became of this truck?

That looks like one of the trucks I saw in the magazine. Paint&trim look wrong not 1980 style trim. But it could have been crashed a few times.

Now that is a cool find!!! I am sure that is a legit Fall Guy truck, especially with the mid engine mount...you don't see that every day. That would be neat to own.

ya right , but this truck is built from diffrerent trucks... and for a regular use you need to rebuilt it with a conventional engine under it's hood etc... imagin the damn work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And no more title even no VIN..... That could be a cool project of restoration for somekind of museum .

I have a few of my wifes friends (there from here) workign on getting me a name and address as soon as I get it Il post pics. THat truck in the photo was one of the fall guy trucks that is the one that they jump onto the road chasing the porsche in the begining credits I have talked to the two auto parts stores in town about the truck and they are asking around they said they havnt seen it for a couple of years but are pretty sure its still in town

Hi buddy
thanks so much for your great help!!! ya that's the reason i was not interested buying that stunt truck wich is not a useful truck even no paper and so much work on it.... those trucks used for close shots ( speed trucks) are great to buy and a friend working those time on the show told me that one of the staff bought a truck from them , could be posible it's the one in your town!!!
Waitin from you our fall guy MagnumPI!!!

I tracked the guy down and it sold about a year ago to some dumba$$ who was going to paint it and totally change it. BUT the old owner is going to look and see if he can find a address or phone number. He said the guy called him a while back and asked if he had any maintenace records on it because the motor blew up and it was supposedly under warranty. Hmm hopefully its sitting behind soemones house still blown up and I or someone on here can snag it for cheap.... That would be hot lol !!!! I checked to make 100% sure that it was not one of the stunt trucks and didnt have the motor recessed back for jumping. IT didnt the guy who had it got it directly from Lee Majors Lee used to drive it to and from promotions and BS said it had like 90,000 pampered miles on it :
