Thank you all for the positive feedback! After spending that much time on it I needed that burst of enthusiasm. I will be sure and keep the pictures coming as it progresses.

I guess I'll never understand people buying outrageous priced-high maintenance aluminum styled wheels when they can have the great looks of Corvette rallys for 1/4 of the price. Beautiful job!!

That really does look awsome. Powder coating is the way to go for chassis/suspension. I had some stuff done a while back at a local shop and it wasn't that expensive. The hardest thing, like you said is finding a place that does it. There aren't a lot of them. I am starting a business to do small parts for now, and hopefully move up to whole frames. Keep up the great work and show more pics as it progresses.

Hey Deuce,
that is quite an offer. We should make a point of hooking up sometime. I wanted to be ready with the truck for world of wheels this year but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen now. Maybe 2006. Jmanz69, When I was pressing a new bushing into one of the rear trailing arms, it slipped off the bench, landed on the concrete floor. To make the matter worse... with my poor attempt to save it, I ended up hitting it in such a way that it slid for about 5 feet. I picked it up thinking what a mess I made. I couldn't believe there was no damage at all except one small chip on the corner and a couple of scuffs. Some cut wax and a little elbow greese and it was as good as new. I am very impressed with how durable the powder coat is. Curt

Are those 15x8 steel rallys from someone like Stockton Wheels or Wheel Vintiques? They sure do look awesom with the white lettered tires on that chassis.
