Dash I got from a machine shop in SoCal. He's a user here, his name is Javier. 195.00

Guages were 769.99 from Summit Racing.

Hey grendel, welcome to the Northeast. What brings you out this way? I don't know how much snow you get out in Northern Cali. But you will get plenty of it in the Boston area, have fun in the snow with the Blazer. And make sure you wash it often in the winter, the salt will kill the body.

I lived in Ca for three years.

Good thing for you that you can't go into combat. Things are getting uglier by the day over there.
Good thing you were stationed out in Cali for awhile. Looks like all the good clean truck deals are out there. Is that where you started your collection?

I was there during the First Gulf and then some. I'd go again, if I could actually help.

I started collecting a long time ago, just seems that the collection evolves over time...

God bless ya man. I remember around the Gulf War when they were talking about implementing the draft because the armed forces supposedly were scaled down after the cold war ended. I figured that I was going to be drafted out of high school if they ever did. We all know how that ended. I was all for it but I remember my father saying that he would never let that happen and that he would move me to Canada first. He was drafted in 69 and went to Vietnam and said that he would never let his son go through that. I guess I could never fully understand what he went through but I would never give up my citizenship. I'm very patriotic and would serve my country if I was called upon, even if my father was completely against it.

Part of my job here is getting Sailors ready to go out to combat. It's a sad world right now.

Not sure the draft will ever happen, but good that you've made the decision.

I have the receipts from the engine and transmission rebuild. All wearables were replaced in both the engine and transmission. Engine with 67K original miles was rebuilt to a stock config.
Bed has rust in the rear, by the tailgate, nothing that a welder wouldn't fix. Rest of the bed is solid and straight. There is also small surface rust, that could be sanded off before paint.
