It was a good weekend here because I finally got the interior installed in the old truck. Although they are not the correct year, I like them just the same. Down the road I'll get new foam and the correct 69-70 covers. Next, I need to detail the engine and finish up a few small items, so I can take it for a spin.
I can't wait for that! |

While I enjoyed my 60F weather (yes, I'm rubbing it in...)
I got my transmission crossmember hooked back to the frame, got the tranmission bolted to that crossmember, got the drive shaft put back together. Hooked the exhuast back up. Got my power steering pump on. Got the radiator/fan shroud put back in... uhmm.. I think that's about it. I'm new to this stuff and still slow... I put something together then realize... Oh **** I should done something else first.. So I end up taking it back off. Good example of that is the starter I took on and off 3 times this weekend Ya, I'm putting my new motor in. Hopefully crank it up this weekend

I bought a good propane heater and warmed up the garage for the first time ever. And then I thought awhile about why I hadn't done that three years ago. I finished putting plastic on the ceiling so all of my new heat isn't in the rafters of my 11 foot ceiling. I then found my workbench under the pile of tools, parts, & other miscellany. I then opened the box for a new 10" table saw and unpacked it.
As far as the truck goes, I picked up my new ignition switch because after 6 months of looking, I can't find any keys. I ordered a new fender, sold some stuff on ebay that I don't need for my truck, and took some more stuff off the hood. Oh yeah, I also took my son to his three hockey games and sold girl scout cookies with too daughters. Next weekend I have to go to Chicago for work. No garage fun til after that. HG

dropped the blazer tank and replaced the sender float for the second time in 6 months and replaced one of the fuel filters. I also got some wood working done. Framed these two panels to use as the headboard for the platform bed I am making.

I got my new stairs finished for my shop. For my loft above my bench. They were alot longer. Had to cut both ends. Did some cuttin, welding. Now i just have to get the wood bought for the loft
Had to get the stairs set though. I have book shelves to mount on the wall behind the stairs. For my auto manuals.

finished patching the passanger side door and fender. Primed, blocked, and primed the door. Just primed and blocked the fender. Not enough time in the day, having to put more time in at the "salt mines" than time on the work I want to do
