If you noticed the blue one ton was the one I sent you pic's of the top.

Maybe I'm sick, but I can see myself driving this with a 502, 4 speed manual, single-tire 10" meats on the rear and 8" wides up front, on chrome 22" 5 spokes. Make it black, chop the top oh...5" or so, deck the interior out with neon going along the sides above the side windows, two black leather couches (one on either side), a wet bar in the back by the rear door (which will have a flip down ladder), and a leather captain's chair out of an RV. Chrome the entire front end and drop it in the weeds on airbags. mmmm...busses....

Some where close to Decater then? I worked there a few years back on the grain elevators right next to the river, (Tenn. River? )

To bad to see it all go to the crusher. I'm sure there's parts there we could all use.

I think I have decided to go with the teardrop style. Not correct but I want roof markers and they will fit the existing contour.
I am planning to be down there again the first of June. I will let you know.

It sucks to see all those 3/4 and 1 tons that are trashed. I'm always looking for chassis and suspension parts for mine and all I ever find are 1/2 ton trucks that have been picked over.

454 72,
I'm just out side of Cullman, but Decatur is not to far away.

nu2-72,
Just let me know, And if you get some extra time and want to try again to make some yard trips, give me a little notice and I'll take a day off.

Truckguy, not to sure on early 60's Chevy, the blue one may be gone, the 1.5 or 2 ton had a tank on the back and may still be around for a while.

Robert, green Apache 1.5 ton truck is gone... Don't look to close it may make you cry.

Junk yard tip: Look even if every thing says, not what you need.
Emblems are 73 up
Grill 67/68

Found: 72 only BB Motor mounts
Two bars mounted to the cross member and then went up to the front of the frame.
Included shot after parts were removed not sure why I did not take one of them installed??

Well that sucks. That hood emblem looked like it was in awesome shape. The Apache trucks are my second favorite design next to the 67-72 style trucks.

Truckguy, I only seen two. One was in the step van that the mounts came from and it was in fair to poor shape(IMO). The other was in the 70 one ton and it was not worth the time even if it was free. I'll look at the one in the stepvan, if it is still there and take a few pics.

The column in the step van was starting to pit from the rust on the top and the bottom bearing had fell out. More than I would want to mess with. Did not check a price figured he would ask 20-30?

Took these from the floor board under the drivers seat of the red C60 in post #20. These are the same as the ones in my blazer. If you want the set, let me know. I would trade them for a burger at one of your board meets.

72 big block mounts

Are you selling the 72 mounts? If so, how much to 98407?

Thanks - Bob

Bob, Not at this time. Still not sure what I'm going to put in my panel.

Craig, You want me to mail them or bring them to the SSC in April?
