Got The I6 Just Need Coil Bracket Mine Also Has Nothing No Ps No Pb No Ac And The Usual Rust But It Runs Good. JUST PUT NEW ON COIL THE ONE I GOT DIDN'T COME WITH ONE

292's also have a big bypass hose on the front of the engine above the water pump.

Like already mentioned, there were only 2 inline engines offered 67 - 72, the 250, and the 292. Longhorn, my 69 panel has a 230 I6 (i am sure it's not original), but I use 1968 van info when part shopping, because I thought they had the 230 from factory? Am I off-base?

look at the alternator - its got two belts. i've seen that on lots of dodges but not 250's. it looks cool & all HEAVY DUTY! also notice the alt bracket that has the adjuster slot on it for a ps pump...

The PS brackets are different for 250's and 292's so you have to make sure you get the right ones.

sorry, I don't have the ps on mine. I kinda going with a resdtoration on this one. My 69 swb pickup has all the ps, pb, etc. but it is a V8.. I am doing resto/customizing on it. good luck though.. could be a nice addition.

Yeah, I got the new engine in and I'm moving to a new distributor and firing system. I should have the bracket you need, just need a couple of days to make sure the new distributor and ignition system is working correctly (I work during the week; expected to have it done this weekend, but time and weather didn't permit).

The gasket was literally blown apart all through the middle (it was one of the really good Felpro gaskets too, I'm really surprised). After looking at the casting numbers, I'm also noticing that the original block was made in 1968, so I'm still convinced it is the original engine. I don't think it's the original tranny though.

I think it's the same size of bolt that the grounding block uses. You should have a wire going from the negative side of your battery and it is bolted to the block between the distributor and the water pump.
I believe it's the same size of bolt.

I can decifer your engine code correctly!
Let me have the number that is "stamped" on the small pad to the left of the distributor. This is the "build number" The first letter is the Engine Assembly Plant I.D. and the next two numbers are the month, and the last two letters tell which engine it is! My two cent worth
Be happy to send you an interpretation of the pad number code.. rico
