Kit

Alex;

The only items they didn't mention in the kit are axel bearings & axel seals. I recomend replacing them also if your going this far. It won't add much to the over all cost. The reason you should replace them is the same gear lube that lubricates the gears, lubes the axel bearings. So any metal fragments that were in the lube get into all the bearings. $900 sounds like a much beter deal, as long as the guy knows his stuff.

Thanks Gary!!! I will do the axel bearings and seals as well...you are right!!! This guy that I found knows his stuff for sure!!! Parts should be here by Monday and to the shop on Tuesday. Sad thing is when it's all fixed, I think I might have to sell it. Oh well it's just another hurdle or bump in the road of life.

That's stinks that you may have to sell it. I hope you find a way to hang onto it. Those 2 trucks of yours would be an awesome pair.

Do you "need" a posi.....If you never noticed if you had one or not, chances are you will never "need" one.

Should you spend the extra $ on a posi......only if your planing a lot more power or some more then casual off roading.
