GMC fo' life! It's gotta be a full-chrome GMC grille, though. No black. My favorite would have to be the '68 GMC frontend...followed by the '67 and '69-'70 GMC frontends...then the '67-'68 Chevy. The ones I just listed are ones I would leave on a truck if I did another project; any others, I'd change to one of the above.

I used to like Chevys better. The only reason I bought a GMC was because it was in such good shape for the price. I even considered puting a Chevy front cap on it. But now it has grown on me and I love it. I have always liked things that are different, and I bet I see 20 Chevys on the road for every GMC I see. It is also wild how many younger people have never seen the GMC version. I went to Super Chevy in Memphis a few weeks ago,and three different people asked how I put 4 headlites on that truck. But the best part is real chrome in the sunshine,Chevys aluminum just doesn't shine like that and that is something that pictures don't do justice.

For 69-72 it's easily Chevy for me. 67 & 68 I just don't know. Looking at the current stuff though, I think the GMC's look a lot better. I know that wasn't the question, but...

Got a little of both... Chevy fender on the driver's side, GMC fender on the passenger side.
Chevy grill, but I think it's from the wrong year. Dan |

I like Chevy's better. I like the first grill on 67-72s that was on the 67 the most. I have a 72 though and like it fine... maybe looks a little more modern (but cheaper)

Chevy, duh...
Me personally, I HATE the GMC grilles. They look too much like the F@rd grilles of the 70's. The 67/68 I think are the best. They are a clean combination of a modern/classic style.
