NO NO NO NO not my intentions at all I love 68GMC's truck I was commenting on one of the posts that was in the link about how cute is daughter was and that he would be using her to sway our votes. As long as a stepside wins it's all good.

Wish I could have submitted my truck. I guess I would have to still be the owner, though....

Nope not at all, I'm just surprized that I didn't get more votes. I didn't say that I expected to get ALL of them. But on a serious note, please explain to me what areas the yellow truck has over my truck? I really like all the trucks on this site, that's what we all have in common! I especially like the Blazer and I almost voted for him!

there is alot of contrast in that truck. it is more of an eye catcher. you glance at that truck and saw wow nice. but your truck you really have to look at to see all of the bad a$$ stuff. with everything being gray its neutral and not really a eye catcher.
P.S.(i voted for you)

Well i voted for you 1stgen because:
1. I love the color 2. Love the motor 3. Your local and 4. of all the trucks in this months selection yours is the closest to what i would have built. The first time i saw that yellow gmc in that setting my jaw dropped. It looks like a painting or a sales brochure its so well photographed but in the end i looked past the beauty of the picture and looked at the truck build and voted which i liked best based on that. I guess what im saying is that i think your short on votes because you didnt have pictures up until after allot of people already voted for someone else. Your also in competition with another ls1 truck so you have to expect to split some votes there. And lastly, when you have to cast your vote based on a few pictures then presentation is important. I'd bet if you found a cool spot with good lighting and snapped some photos of your truck with the right angles that the voting would have been dramatically different. Just something to keep in mind. |
