Got the last piece of repair sheetmetal welded onto the stepside box. Straightened the tailgate with my latest favorite tool...a "come-along" and 2x4 block of wood...no more twisted tailgate! Put tranny fluid into it...lit the fire and drove it around the block...no windows, no doors, no seat belts and the seat was not bolted down. BIG SEG on my face and all the neighbors just knew I was having fun! Made a 2-page "pick-list" to address before I can take it out for its first road trip.
Hey Crews...is Tree as nice looking in person as her pics? Dubie...that is a classic Spring car guy photo!!!! That should be on the cover of Classic Trucks...LOL!

worked till 9:30 Friday nite, and 11 hours on Sunday. I love the OT! Yesterday, I powerwashed the garage, deck and house, then took a much needed long nap, in the middle of the Bristol race. At least Jr finally had a decent finish. I hope it's a sign of things to come for him.

Thursday Night I pulled the motor back out of my Panel. Friday I removed the standard size bearings and installed the .010 over ones (don't ask ) Saturday I got the 'ol girl back together and all ready for a drive and discovered a new hole in my radiator. No problem, that's why I have a spare. New problem, spare radiator has a leak, too. That's when I started drinking whiskey. Today, my radiator is at the shop getting fixed, and my hangover is much better.

Finnaly got my stock radio rattle to stop. Cleaned the oil leak on my carpet from my old stewart warner gauges. Fixed an exhaust leak and cleaned the antifreeze off of the engine bay, happend from a hose busting while on my way to work on the freeway, good times!
