I went with red 'cause Screamin' has a red and white theme.

I have red lighting throughout the cab. Any color LED can be used, blue and white are the most expensive though.
You know what red lights in the cab mean in the trucker world dont you? Watch out for "lot lizards".

Looks good, im using blue led's in my phantom gauges.

Thanks for that tip, I am definately gonna try that on my old lens. I am eventually gonna order a new one, I can do it to that one as well.

This is OT, but ... The human eye can see in red light without forcing the pupil to contract, so your night vision is not reduced.

If you go with blue lights or green lights or other colours, it affects vision in a different way than red light will and it will hamper your ability to see in the dark.

There's always a need for good lighting in vehicles

OK it's a quicky diagram of what I did on my lights. This view is from the rear of the bezel. I hope this helps, I included a "close up" of how to wire LEDs parallel.

Heh. What about the blinkers? Using stock lights for those? Any other stock lights you left behind?

I retrofitted a single green LED and proper resistor in the factory bulb holder for each blinker. I didn't leave any of the incandescent bulbs in. I even changed out the brake and "whats-it" lights in the fuel gauge as well as the high-beam indicator to LEDs in the factory holder. I'll post pics of that mod if you want. I'm gonna use the "Whats-it" light for a compressor on indicator as soon as I get the bags done.
