Is it Ronnie Milsap or Eddie Rabbit who always sings songs about truck driving?

My recipe:
Take Waylon live double album, the essential willie nelson double disk, a Robert Earl Keen live, and throw in Pat Green Live, put all in 6 disck changer, hit shuffle and drive.

I always lisetned to rock/metal back when mine had a CD player in it and i drove it...everything from Incubus (lighter albums like Morning View) to Chimaria.

Now i always get weird looks driving around in my compact car blaring Atreyu, Underoath, or nu-metal bands like Skrape, Sloth, and Professional Murder Music

i would have to say Pink Floyd or ZZ Top and the like. Janis Joplin is another I like, as well as Joan Jett (she was just here at Ft. Hood last week----STILL sounds great and has more energy than most half her age lol)

For a really old truck like from the 30's, 40's and 50's I think the perfect music would be old country (60's and earlier) and old rock. (Beach Boys and older)
Especially old songs about drag racing!

It all depends on the mood and what Im doing. If Im cruising, wrenching on my truck, or jus sitting on the tailgate, taking it easy. It differs, I like all sorts of music but my fav would be anything from

Johnny Cash to
Hank Sr. (with a cold 6 pack) to
Rage Against the Machine to
Tool to
Pink Floyd to
Led Zeppelin to
Outkast, even.

It jus depends.

Yes I am kidding. After all its in my name.

If im hunting, I like country tunes
If I cruising, classic rock is fine.
If I am acting my age, talk radio is the ticket.

No RAP in my rigs.

Good ole country songs----- like "If you are not No. 1 with me---then No.2 on you!"; "When banana skins start fallin'; I'll come sliding back to you" and the old classic"There's tears in my ears, from lying on my back in my bed, cryin' over you"
