People with shops or garages that they can work in are lucky. I have to bulid my truck in the back yard out in the rain getting wrecked because my dad won't let me work on it in the garage except for the engine.

I hear ya bro, when I lived with my parents, and then with my aunt & uncle during college, I had two VERY nicely equipped garages to work on my truck in. I now live in an apartment complex and probably will for the next couple years till I can build credit (it's not bad, I just never "established" it) and save enough cash for a house down payment. I can't even tell you how bad it sucks changing oil and fuel filters in a parking lot... but it was A LOT of fun changing a broken tranny mount in an 86 camaro (drove it up on the curb so I could get under it).... Meathead has it down!!! Big shop WITH A LIFT!!!

There's just nothing like the feeling of gravel on your back; whenever you get your hand in just the right place is when the biggest rock is sticking up. The excavators came today to start on our new garage. Congrats, you deserve it.
