No shims left to take out. Actually it should push or pull the ball joint a small amount in one direction or the other at that same ride height. Think about it, well it might be different for you but with my tubular uppers there is a 1/4" thick plate the ball joint mount to... if you were to say put the ball joint on the bottom of that 1/4" you effectively move the ball joint because with a lowered truck the angle of the control arm is not perpendicular with the crossmember anymore. I'm not talking about a huge difference but I just need another degree or two...

I havent flipped my upper arms yet, but have looked at the idea. It looks to me like the flip on the STOCK arms will change the angle enough to pull the top of the spindle inward somewhat. If you are running tubular upper arms, I think most are built a little longer to compensate for the geometry issues on the short spring, or bag drop. on the tube arms,I dont think you will move things very much , just by bolting the balljoint to the bottom side of the arm.....that just a guess tho! I would like to hear a little more on the subject L
